Contributions	My name is Evambe Thompson, community radio animator working with the Bonakanda Rural Radio. One of the many ways in which I fight against fake news it through the use of radio productions like spots and micro programs through which I inform audience on how to use or share information both online and offline. Through the productions, I advise listeners to verify, confirm and think before they click or whisper any information to a third party. Furthermore, partnering with #defyhatenow# has empowered my counter fake news initiative following the use of the developed field guides. Considering the fact that I work in one of the most prioritized media (proximity radio), I take the challenge to denounce every false news of information by consulting the relevant institutions or organizations that are directly related to the subject in question. In addition, I share my knowledge with community members on how fake news can influence behaviors. During training sessions that are been organized by local organizations, I seize the opportunity pass information on how to stop or fight against fake news.
